GWINNETT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSION CHAIRMAN CHARLOTTE NASH TO KEYNOTE THE ANNUAL STATE OF THE COUNTY ADDRESS


Chairman Nash to Give Community's Outlook at May 18 Joint Meeting

Duluth, GA- The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and the Council for Quality Growth will be hosting Gwinnett County Board of Commission Chairman Charlotte Nash and the Board of Commissioners for the annual State of the County Address Presented by Gas South on March 18, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at the Gwinnett Center. Attendees will have the chance to hear the Chairman's vision for the county in 2011.

"Gwinnett County continues to be a leader in infrastructure development, quality of life and economic development. I look forward to Chairman Nash's outlook as she leads Gwinnett to a robust and prosperous 2011," said Michael Paris, president and CEO, Council for Quality Growth.

With the election of Gwinnett's newest leader, Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Chairman Charlotte Nash, come new beginnings and new outlooks for 2011 and 2012. The May 18th annual State of the County Address will offer Gwinnett business and community leaders the opportunity to get to know the newest leader of Gwinnett's local government, Chairman Charlotte Nash.

During her 27-year career with Gwinnett County, Charlotte Nash worked as a Grants Manager/Accountant, Budget Manager, Finance Director/Chief Financial Officer and County Administrator. She managed 24 annual budgets and implemented capital budgeting and long-term financial planning processes. Her leadership was instrumental in gaining the coveted AAA/Aaa ratings from the three major bond rating agencies.
